Norman Robert Stenson, the son of Ira Everett and Ruth (Swihart) Stenson, was born Aug. 24, 1933, on a farm near Hardy, Neb. He died May 5, 2021, at the Good Samaritan Society Superior home at the age of 87 years, 8 months, 11 days.

Norman was raised on the farm and attended school in Hardy, graduating from Hardy High School. He was a 40 plus year member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Norman was inducted into the United States Navy on Dec. 9, 1955, and was honorably discharged on Dec. 8, 1961, serving during the Post Korean war.
