SHS golf at Milford for conference play

 


The Superior High School golf team competed at the Southern Nebraska Conference match played over the challenging Thornridge Golf Course. Superior finished in 10th place in the 10 team field with a team score of 456. Other teams at the event were Centennial, David City, Fairbury, Fillmore Central, Heartland, Milford, Sandy Creek, Sutton and Thayer Central. The four lowest individual scores are used to establish the team score.

Conner Blackstone was the low Wildcat scorer with his round of 94. Bayln Bargen was in with a round of 103. Neah McMeen carded a round of 128. Aaron Allgood shot a round of 131. Emma Henderson completed a round of 133.

The Wildcats closed out their regular season schedule with the Thayer Central Invitational, at Hebron, Wednesday. Match results were unavailable at press time.

Superior golfers will be at the Indianhead Golf Course in Grand Island, Tuesday, for the District C-4 state qualifying match hosted by Grand Island Central Catholic. They will be competing against golfers from Alma, Amherst, Arcadia-Loup city, Central City, Centura, Doniphan-Trumbull, Grand Island Central Catholic, Kearney Catholic, Ord, Ravenna, Sandy Creek, St. Paul and Wood River.
