Heavy rain sends Wilson Lake 2.5 feet into flood stage

 


More than 8 inches of rain fell Saturday night and Sunday morning on portions of the Paradise Creek water shed washing out bridges and flooding property including the towns of Natoma and Paradise. The creek flows into Wilson Reervoir. Flood waters pouring into the lake in recent days have raised the lake level nearly 2.5 feet At 6:30 Tuesday eveing the lake level was 1,518,43 feet above flood stage.,which puts the lake about 2.5 feet into flood stage.
