The District Tournament for Class D golfers came a little earlier than some of us expected. It was held Monday at the Indianhead Golf Course in Grand Island.

There were 14 team at the event and the top three teams qualified for the State Meet.

The L-N Raiders came in 4th.

The team put together one of their best rounds of the season. Four of the five golfers all broke 100 which was a first for the year.

The top three teams were: Franklin 352, Hastings St. Cecilia 360, Thayer Central 383.

Lawrence-Nelson scored a team total of 390.
