Nelson lifeguards get pool ready for 2021 season

Many folks have fond memories of summers at the community pool. For many youths, being a lifeguard is their first job. This year the community of Nelson has a large group of teenagers working on getting the pool open. Since the pool was closed for the 2020 season, pool employees have many items to check off the "to do" list before the opening of the new season.

Painting has been at the top of that list. The pool house is getting a fresh coat of paint inside and out. It is white with black trim. The benches will be painted in a light grey but will have to be painted over time. The outside...
