Phyllis June Armstrong Vann died April 13, 2020, in Woodburn,Ore. She was born June 22, 1943, in Guide Rock.

Phyllis moved from Superior to Oregon in 1976 with her daughter Cheri. After working as a seamstress making sports equipment,she retired in 2008. She lived with her daughter and son-in-law for the last nine years of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Vann; her parents, Willis and Nora Armstrong; her sister, Dorothy Young; and her brother, Roger Armstrong.
