Brodstone breaks ground on new expansion for facility

Brodstone Memorial Hospital held a ground breaking ceremony on Thursday to celebrate the upcoming construction of a facility expansion. The expansion, which is slated to be complete the summer of 2022, is expected to be 30 percent more efficient than the current facility and will include a new emergency room with trauma bays and an ambulance garage. It will also include 17 new patient rooms that are more than three times the size of the current rooms, eight remodeled patient rooms, an infusion center with new suites for chemotherapy and infusion treatments, as well an outdoor healing garde...
