Artist paints windows In Mankato

 

Jade Chaput, Concordia, from Jaded Ink Designs, painted Mankato business' windows for the Mammoth Festival, which is happening this weekend.

Jade Chaput, Concordia resident from Jaded Ink Designs, has been coming to Mankato to paint business' windows for the Mammoth Festival, which is happening this weekend.

As a graduate of Clifton-Clyde High School, Chaput attended Cloud County Community College where she studied theater and graphic design. Chaput was born in Cheyenne, Wyo. She moved around a lot when she was growing up. She said a lot of her artwork influences came from being in Albuquerque, N.M., because of the bright colors.
