The Nuckolls County Board of Commissioners met at the county courthouse in Nelson, Monday. All three commissioners were present.

The board is meeting weekly through July 19 to prepare the upcoming fiscal year budget. The board worked through a light agenda at Monday’s meeting.

The board took no action on funding requests from ASAAP and Revive Ministries funding requests.

The board approved bids for commercial appraisal service and a maintenance contract for Standard Appraisal Services, Inc., Central City. The company provides services to the county assessor’s office.

The board approved a $7,500 funding allocation for the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) animal control program.

The board will meet Monday, at 8:30 a.m. at the county courthouse in Nelson.
