Dorothy Elizabeth Amack Mattison, 97, was born June 1, 1924, to Luella and Lloyd Amack in Garfield precinct south of Red Cloud. She died June 14, at Heritage Care Center in Red Cloud.

She was a lifelong resident of Webster County. In February of 1943 she was united in marriage to Dallas Mattison, who preceded her in death. To this union two daughters were born: Doreen Greenhalgh and Deanna Adams. Dorothy is also survived by two grandchildren: Lisa Knapp and Lanny Greenhalgh; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
