Delene Hazel Place, 82, of Formoso, Kan., the daughter of Roy Clifford Goodall and Lola May (Pease) Goodall, was born Dec. 3, 1938, in St. Helens, Ore. She died June 27, 2021, at Republic County Hospital, Belleville.

Delene grew up and attended school in St. Helens, Ore., graduating from high school. She was united in marriage to Steven R. Place. To this union one son and four daughters were born.

She lived most of her life in central Oregon in the towns of St. Helens, Newport, Bend and Prineville. She moved to Formoso in September of 1998 to make her home.
