Doris Ann Healey, the daughter of Charles and Ella (Meador) Summers, was born Nov. 23, 1930, on a farm north of Webber, Kan. She died on June 28, 2021, at the Superior Good Samaritan Society Center, Superior, at the age of 90 years, 7 months, 5 days.

She attended Valley View grade school and graduated from Superior High School with the Class of 1948. After graduation, she worked as the secretary for the superintendent of schools at Superior, and later at Morris-Andersen Motor Company and the Farmers Union Creamery.
