Nuckolls County honors open class fair exhibitors

 

Don Kohmetscher, Lawrence, earned a purple ribbon and the champion rosette for his entry in the industrial arts category at the Nuckolls County Fair.

Ann Watts earned the outstanding exhibitor award by bringing the highest number of high quality exhibits in all areas of open class to the 2021 Nuckolls County Fair. In addition to the outstanding exhibitor award, Watts showed the best of county textile arts exhibit described as "Hearts" with stitch. She also earned the open class rosette in foods and baking with her fudge and the open class rosette in food preservation with dill pickle spears.

Lois Sullivan earned the best in county quilt title with a quilt described as "multi jelly roll."

Bob John earned the best in county photograph...
