A funeral was held for Lawrence area native, Bernadette Ann Brockman Saturday, July 16, at the St. Stephen Catholic Church south of Lawrence. Miss Brockman was born April 20, 1953, and died in Grand Island, Neb. on July 9, 2021.

The Funeral Mass was offered by Rev. Father Corey Harrison and was assisted by acolyte, Dale Kimminau and lector, Ken Kathman. Mass servers were Theo Kathman and Logan Menke. Organist was Judy Schroer and song leaders were Kayla Jacobitz and Lauren Rempe. Serving as pall bearers were: Jerry Miller, Arnie Miller, Royce Kimminau, David Kimminau, Dan Mazour and Darrell Anderson.

The parish rosary was held Friday evening at the St. Stephen church.

Burial followed the service in the St. Stephen cemetery.
