The Superior Municipal Swimming Pool will close for the season on Sunday. Bev Czirr, pool manager, said the pool will close at 5 p.m.  Sunday. It will open at 1 p.m. Normal operating hours will be in effect until Sunday.

Czirr said attendance figures varied with the weather. Extreme high temperatures limited the number of afternoon swimmers. The pool averaged 75 patrons each afternoon. The lifeguard staff is comprised of high school and college students who are returning to school next week.
