The Jewell Apartments Board of Directors met Aug. 2, at City Hall. Attending the meeting were Darrell Bohnert, Josh Burks, Max Burks, Bob Freeman, Gaye Daniels, Derek Birdsell, Jacque Williams and Kristie Anderson.

Williams submitted her report of occupancy and monthly correspondence. She said HUD would be there Aug. 4 to have a reacting inspection. She said HUD is processing the Jewell Apartments request to drop the age limit to 55 and older for a temporary period.
