David V. Anderson, 81, of Burr Oak, Kansas, died at his residence on Friday, Aug.13. On Jan. 15, 1940, David was born in Huntington Park, Calif., to Verner and Edith (Lewis) Anderson.

David was a 1957 graduate of Huntington Park High. He then received his associate degree from Orang Coast Junior College. David went on to receive his bachelor's degree in physical education from Denver University in 1962.

David married Patricia Ann Byers on Aug. 29, 1965, at the Burr Oak United Methodist Church. On Aug. 29, of this year, David and Pat would have celebrated their 56th year of marriage. To th...
