The Superior Express -

After an absence of several years, Superior High School will be fielding a girls golf team this fall. The team is coached by Kirk Utecht who also serves as the boys golf team coach. The team kicks off the season at the Central City Invitational, Thursday. Tee time is 10 a.m.

The boys team from last spring had three girls on the roster. After several more girls expressed interest in playing, the team was reinstated.

The team members held several fund raisers over the summer to buy needed equipment such as logo golf bags and uniforms.
