Rain was welcome but not general

Some folks got a much needed rain late Sunday and early morning but the majority did not. In general the rain did not cross the stateline into Kansas.

Reports of 2.5 inches or so were common throughout Superior, CoCoRaHS observers submitted the following reports:

Wind damaged trees and power lines in the Nelson, Sunday night. Eighth Street between the highway and Wheeler Street was closed until the utilities were repaired.
