The Lawrence-Nelson High School football team will be looking to improve upon last season’s 1-6 record. The Raiders host the High Plains Community Storm at Lawrence, Friday, to open the 2021 season. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Head coach Brian Blevins, along with asssistant coaches Jerad Niederklein, Preston Hild, Decker Brown, Kevin Wheel and Ramsey Hurt, have the players motivated for the season.

The team returns several experienced players who will look to lead the team to the playoffs.

Senior members of the team are Wyatt Brockman and Jacob Swift.
