The Rock Hills High School football team opens their 20121 season opener this week under the tutelage of new head coach Sawyer Havenstein Friday. The team travels to Linn for a contest with the Linn Bulldogs. Kick off is set for 7 p.m.

The Grizzlies volleyball team opened their season last Tuesday with a triangular match at Tipton. They played St. John’s-Tipton and Natoma. The volleyball team hosts a triangular match at Mankato Tuesday with Osborne and Thunder Ridge providing the opposition.

Kobi Bowers, Trysten Reynolds and Kit Wagner are running with the Pike Valley cross country team as part of a cooperative program. They make their season debut Friday at the Tescott Invitational at Tescott. First race is at 3 p.m.
