The NCK Health Collaborative, along with Jewell County 365 and other partners, are releasing a survey Oct. 1, to assess local health needs in Jewell and Mitchell counties.

A community health needs assessment is a tool that helps local organizations know how they can better serve their community. Community members inform organizations about what programs and services are needed. These organizations, such as hospitals, schools, K-State extension, churches and others can utilize it to better serve their community.
