Marsha Kinyoun

Marsha Jo Kinyoun, the daughter of Robert and Darlene (Thomas) Woerner, was born on Jan. 26, 1957, in Superior, Nebraska. She died on Oct. 4, 2021, at the Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior, Neb., at the age of 64 years, 8 months, 8 days.

Marsha attended grade school at Beaver-

ville and 2-R country schools and Superior High School, graduating with the Class of 1975. After graduating, she attended two years at Hastings Community College. She was employed at Superior Vision for many years, retiring in 2015. She was united in marriage to Jeffrey D. Kinyoun on Sept. 16, 1978 in Superior. This union was blessed with two children, Jessica and Michael.

Marsha was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Superior, past president of Kiwanis, and the Superior Red Caps. She enjoyed quilting, and made a countless number of quilts for many special occasions and people in her life.

In her retirement, she enjoyed golfing, boating, gardening, caring for the farm and ranch, and wintering in Queen Creek, Ariz.

For Marsha, the most important thing to her was supporting her children with their school and activities, as well as hosting her many nieces and nephews.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Darlene Woerner, and her parents-in-law, Dale and Margaret Kinyoun.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff of Superior; daughter, Jessica Miller and husband, Luke, of Ankeny, Iowa; and son, Michael and wife, Mary, of Elkhorn, Neb .; three grandchildren, Reagan and Savanna Miller and Molly Kinyoun; her siblings, Linda Hall and husband, Terry,of Hastings, Beverly Mayfield and husband, Rick, of Beatrice, Duane Woerner and wife, Barb, of Superior, and Beth Woerner-Wyatt and husband Robert of Queen Creek, Ariz .; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date at the Webber Cemetery, Webber, Kan., with the Rev. Lori Kitzing officiating.

Visitation and book signing was held from 5 to 7 p.m.on Oct. 8, with the family present to greet friends.

Inurnment will be in the Webber Cemetery.

Memorials may go in care of the family where they will disburse to her chosen foundations and other charitable causes.
