The Red Cross will be back to Nelson in two weeks, from 9 to 3 p.m., Friday, Nov. 12. It will be exactly eight weeks since the Red Cross was in Nelson. Therefore, if you donated then, you are again eligible to donate.  

Can you spare less than an hour out of your busy day? Appointments are highly recommended. Walk-ins will only be taken if there is an opening. You can schedule online at http://www.redcross blood.org or call Sally Uhrmacher at 402-225-4292 for assistance.  

First timers are always needed.  You’re never too old to start! Go ahead and get the available flu vaccinations, as there is no wait period after receiving your shot. If you’ve received your COVID vaccine, they will want to know which vaccine you received.
