OK folks . . . now I’ve seen enough to really make me wonder.
If you watch any TV at all, you have seen the Presidential motorcades going around Washington, D.C. A short parade of big, black autos with men to protect the president.
Thursday morning, I happened to be home and was watching the president leaving Congress after trying to convince them to pass legislation that would further increase or debt and lead to more inflation.
Maybe I just haven’t been watching enough TV lately, but I was surprised by what is now included in that Presidential motorcade.
About in the middle of the parade, there was a big red and white ambulance, just like the ones we have here in Lawrence or Nelson.
Maybe I’ve missed seeing them before, but I don’t think so.
Why would they have it in the motorcade and what does that tell us about the health of the president?
If you don’t worry about the state of the president . . . maybe it’s time to start worrying about the state of the United States with our current president in office.

I have mentioned before that I often ‘borrow’ articles and information when I find them interesting. Always from a trusted source because I don’t have the resources to compile the information myself. The following is part of what was sent to me recently.
The majority of the article sent concerned politicians and how they work to start programs and projects and then complain about them, but never change anything. A lot of it concerned “Taxes” and how the representatives in Congress are completely responsible for the amount of taxes we all pay. The information was comprised by Mr. Charlie Reese who is a former columnist of the Orlando Sentinel Newspaper.

It seemed all the news the National media was publishing last week was about the enormous spending bill the Liberals in Congress wanted. And then, how the president came up with the idea we should give all the immigrants coming across our southern border $450,000.
The Liberals claim there will be “No” tax increase.
My gosh . . . if we accept this, I’m going to try to sell that bridge in Brooklyn I bought a number of years ago.
The Liberals are not stupid and in some cases are even considerate. But if we don’t use all our efforts to convince our representatives in Congress what a cruel joke the current president is trying to pull on us, we are deficient ourselves.

Veterans Day is sneaking up on us and just to add a few thoughts to those countless numbers of men and women who are included in those numbers, the following is something to think about.
How do nations slip from greatness to obscurity?
• Fighting endless wars they can’t or won’t win • Accumulating massive debt far beyond their ability to repay • Refusing to guard their borders, allowing the nation to be inundated by an alien horde • Surrendering control of their cities to mob rule • Allowing indoctrination of the young • Moving from a republican form of government to an oligarchy • Losing national identity • Indulging indolence • Abandoning faith and family – the bulwarks of social order.
The future is unknown to us, but we can thank our veterans for what they have done in the past, and . . . we can pray for the future.
