The Agrex elevator remained closed early this week but there were signs of activity. Vehicles had returned to the parking lot along with a semi-truck-sized office trailer with tipouts which the company will use as a temporary office space while the former office building is made ready for reuse.

The company website said a train was expected to be spotted for loading mid-week and the elevator would begin accepting grain again at 8 a.m. Wednesday.

A slow rain and some snow on Monday brought fall harvest operations to a standstill.
