The Jewell County Health Department will be giving Moderna boosters from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 10, at the Mankato Community Center. If you have had your second Moderna or Pfizer vaccine at least six months ago, or a Johnson and Johnson shot at least two months ago, you may be eligible to receive a booster dose. Please bring your vaccination cards and insurance cards with you. Eligible individuals include everyone over the age of 65, people 50 to 64 with underlying medical conditions and people 18 years and older two months after receiving their Johnson and Johnson shot.
