James Warren "Pete" Keifer, the son of Bob and Jean (Campbell) Keifer, was born on March 29, 1967, in Superior, Neb. He died Oct. 28, at his home at the age of 54 years, 6 months, 29 days.

Pete attended grade school in Bostwick and graduated from Superior High School in 1985. He attended Curtis Technical College earning a degree in agricultural mechanics.

He was united in marriage to Jeanie Uhrmacher on July 29, 2000, in Superior. Their son Todd was born to this union.
