Lucille Jeannene Richardson, the daughter of Ray and Etta (Huston) Blackburn, was born on Jan. 25, 1929 in Ragan, Neb., in Harlan County. She died (Oct. 29), at the Good Samaritan Society Perkins - Hastings Village at Hastings, Nebraska at the age of 92 years, 9 months, 4 days.

Lucy attended Ragan High School and Kearney State College graduating with a bachelor's degree in teaching.
