BNSF closes N-14 crossing

Railroad crossing repair slated to begin yesterday has caused changes to area traffic plans. If all goes well, the crossing work will be completed today and Highway 14 reopened but the railroad warned the work could take a week.
If you noticed a change in traffic patterns this week, the change can probably be attributed to the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. On Wednesday, Highway 14 was closed between the stateline and the west edge of Superior to allow the railroad to repair the Highway 14 crossing. Confusion surrounded how long the repair would take and what was the best detour route.
