Marvin Henry Brockman was born to Norbert and Evelyn (Menke) Brockman on Aug. 29, 1936. He died Nov. 10, 2021 at the age of 85 years, 1 month and 12 days.

Marvin was born on the family farm one mile north of Mount Clare; attended St. Stephens’ grade school and graduated from Nelson Public High School in 1954.

He enlisted in the United States Navy in July of 1954 and served four years in the Pacific on aircraft carriers. After his honorable discharge, he worked for the telephone company in Orange County California and later for Global Marine Drilling. He traveled to six of the seven continents...
