Epley – Jorgensen receive All-Conference recognition

Coaches from the Twin Valley Conference were able to get together last week and select the 2021 “All Conference” Volleyball team. The L-N Lady Raiders had two players receive the recognition of being included in the voting.
Emma Epley was the sole selection for the first team. The L-N senior led the team in kills at the net with 281, or 3.2 per set. She was also a leader in serving with 53 ace serves.
Other first team members included: Brenna Dubbert of Deshler, Abigail Yelken of Franklin, Cassidy Gallagher of Kenesaw and Dru Niemack and MaKenna Willis, both of Shelton.
Elsa Jorgensen received votes for the All Conference Honors as well and earned a spot on the “Honorable Mention” recognition roster.
Elsa is also a senior and she led the team in ‘Serve Receives’ with a season total of 663 or 7.4 per set. She was also the team leader in ‘Digging’ with a season total of 348, or 3.9 digs per set.
Both girls were also selected to play in the TVC All-Star games at the end of the school year.
