The funeral for Marian Emma Souchek was held Saturday, Nov. 20 at Sacred Heart parish in Lawrence. The Mass of Christian Burial was con-celebrated by pastors Rev. Corey Harrison and Father Thomas Schultes and Father Joe Walsh.

Marian was born July 4, 1930, and died November 12, 2021.

Assisting with services were: Tom Janda as acolyte; Lyle Kohmetscher as lector; Carter and Caleb Griffis as servers. Linda Ostdiek as organist and Sherri Buescher as song leader.

Pallbearers were: Steve Souchek, Jesse Souchek, Josh Souchek, Kyle Goldenstein, Chris Souchek, Blake Souchek and Luke Goldenstein.

A Rosary was held on Friday evening at the Sacred Heart church. Interment was in the Assumption Cemetery in Deweese.
