2022 Kansas State Park reservations launch Dec. 16

Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, Lovewell State Park office will start offering online campsite reservations for the 2022 season at 12 noon on Thursday, Dec. 16, through Reserve America.com, kshuntfishcamp.com, or in person at the Lovewell State Park office. Reservations are available for most utility campsites at Lovewell State Park, and also the Willow Primitive 24 hour generator sites. Customers are encouraged to login to the website ahead of the launch of reservations, to familiarize themselves with the process.

Reservations for Lovewell State Park’s rustic and deluxe camping cabins are available 364 days in advance through the same websites, or through the state park office during regular business hours.

State Park vehicle permits, annual and 14-day camping permits for 2022 will be available beginning Tuesday, just in time for holiday gift giving. Gift cards are also available for purchase, in any amount $25 and up.

An off-season discount price is still available for the annual camping permit, at $202.50 if purchased by March 31. On April 1, the purchase prices increases to $252.50 for the annual camp permit.

The Lovewell State Park office will be closed Dec. 24 and 31 for Christmas and New Year’s holidays. Regular office hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
