Christmas program fills museum church

Sunday the Nuckolls County Musuem hosted their annual Christmas program at the museum church. As usual the church was packed. A portion of the program included the singing of traditional Christmas carols accompanied by the museum's pump organ.

The annual Christmas Program sponsored by the Nuckolls County Historical Society was held at 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon in the museum church.

The church was nearly full when Marlin Meyer rang the bell to signal the start of the program.

Special entertainment was again provided by Arnold Miller and John Price Jr. Carlita Price was the accompanist.

Members of the audience joined in singing "Hark the Herald Angels Sing," "Joy to the World," "O Come, All Ye Faithful" and "Silent Night, Holy Night."

After the program a reception was held in Pioneer Hall. Coffee, punch and cookies were served.

Historical society board members included Fred Meyers and Steve Renz, co-chairmen, Camie Kroeger, secretary, Dave Healey, treasurer, Nancy Meyers, curator, Alfred Hansen, Dave Frey, Esther Martin, Gwen Johnson, Lorri Meyer, Marty Pohlman, Rob Williams and Ron Schott.
