The Lawrence-Nelson High School boys basketball team kicked off the season with two consecutive wins.

The Raiders downed Red Cloud, 54-49, at Nelson, Friday. They put away the Thayer Central Titans, 49-45, at Nelson, Saturday.

Logan Menke led the Raiders offense against Red Cloud with 17 points. Clay Williams was credited with 13 points. Krayton Kucera dropped in 12 points. Connor Janda scored four points.
