It was not the season opener the Superior High School girls basketball team was looking, Thursday. They fell to the Sutton Fillies 53-47 at Sutton. They roared back with a 62-7 trouncing of Republic County at Superior, Saturday.

The Wildcats held a 13-11 first quarter lead against Sutton. A bizarre second quarter which saw several Superior players on the bench with multiple fouls, put them in a deep hole they were unable to climb out of.
