Lawrence Community Club sponsors Christmas events

Jennifer Anderson, Blue Hill, brought her horses and trailer to Lawrence, Saturday, Dec. 12, and provided hayrack rides around Lawrence. Lots of children came to town to see Santa.
The Lawrence Community Club sponsored two events this month. The Tour of Homes was held on Dec. 4. It was a great success with around 90 people visiting the homes of Nick and Jalee Karmazin, Larry and Donna Mazour, Cliff and Brooke Mazour, Eugene and Eileen Mazour and Chance and Dr. Stephanie Svoboda. The homes were beautifully decorated for the holidays.
Santa came to visit on Dec. 12. More than 50 youngsters came to sit on Santa's lap for one last chance to tell him what they would like for Christmas. He had a bag of goodies for each of them. Jennifer Anderson, Blue Hill, brought her horses and trailer and gave hayrack rides.
The officers of the Community Club would like to thank everyone for the support over the last year. Participation in the events, membership dues and donations of time and talents are extremely appreciated.
