Anthony Pingel, 32, a Hastings resident, appears to have been arrested after the two-vehicle crash which took the life of a Superior High School student, Victoria Fleming, 16. Donna Fegler-Dais, the Adams County attorney, has told a reporter that Pingel was arrested after the crash and had bonded out before he could be taken to court. He is now scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, Jan. 6.

As of Monday he had not been charged.

The county attorney said investigators used dental records to identify Fleming. Simlar records for the driver of the car she was riding in were inconclusive....
