Ernest Blau, the son of Wilbur and Genevieve (Snell) Blau, was born on March 19, 1947, in Superior, Neb. He died Dec. 25, at the age of 74 years, 9 months, 6 days.

Ernie attended Nelson Public Schools. On Sept. 12, 1965, he was united in marriage to Diane Skinner. To this union four children were born: Lisa Jolene, Christine, Brent and Angela.

He was the proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren he loved to spoil. He traveled to many sporting, music and drama events where he and Diane usually arrived before the participants.
