The Jewell County Commissioners met Jan. 10. Commissioners Steve Greene and Brent Beck were present. Houston Becker, deputy county clerk, was present for the meeting.
Steve Greene was appointed chairman of the board. Brent Beck was appointed vice chairman.
The Jewell County Record was designated as the official county newspaper.
It was approved that all banks in Jewell County be designated as official depositories.
Beck was reappointed as Jewell County’s representative for the juvenile justice authority-community corrections advisory board.
