Filings for May 10 Elections starting

 

February 10, 2022



The primary election scheduled for May 10, 2022 in Nebraska’s Nuckolls County is beginning to have names on the ballot. With a deadline for incumbents to file being Feb. 15, a number of people have taking the time to register for positions on the ballot.

Non-Incumbents can file at any time, but have a deadline of Tuesday, March 1.

We’ll list candidates who have filed as of Monday, Feb. 7. Since the deadline for Incumbents is Tuesday and people can file after we begin printing, the next report will most likely come with the issue of Feb. 24. The names we have as of this week Monday are:

COUNTY OFFICES:

Commissioner Dist. #1: Kenneth Rempe.

Commissioner Dist. #3: Tim Zikmund

Assessor: Susan Rogers.

County Clerk – Register of Deeds – Election Commissioner: Carrie Miller.

Treasurer: No filings.

Clerk of the District Court: Royce Gonzales.

County Attorney: John Hodge

County Sheriff: Bradley Baker.

CITY OF SUPERIOR:

Mayor: Chris Peterson.

Beaver 1 and Beaver 2: No filings.

Beaver 3: Rick Disney.

SUPERIOR AIRPORT AUTHORITY: No filings.

CITY OF NELSON:

Mayor: Teraesa Bruce.

At Large: Doug Porter, Curtis Jordan.

HARDY: Margorie Renz and Sheila Sjoholm.

NORA: Amber Epley and Robert Williams.

OAK: No filings.

L-N SCHOOL BOARD: David Ochsner

SUPERIOR SCHOOL BOARD: Matthew Bargen, Brad Biltoft.

A reminder to anyone interesting in filing for an elected position. Feb. 15 is the deadline for incumbents and March 1 is the deadline for all others who wish to be on the primary ballot.
