The Superior High School boys basketball team fell to Thayer Central in the consolation round of the Southern Nebraska Conference Tournament 51-43 Saturday. The Wildcats picked up a win at Superior, Monday, when they downed Smith Center 55-46.

Dane Miller led the Superior offense against Thayer Central with 16 points. Jacob Meyer added 13 points. Seth Schnakenberg dropped through nine points. Ashton Grassman scored three points. Taygun Rothchild hit for two points. Grassman and Schnakenberg collected 10 rebounds each off the boards. Miller grabbed five rebounds. Meyer nailed down three rebounds. Roscoe Baumbach and Tanner Theis accounted for one rebound each.

The Wildcats face off against intra-county rival Lawrence-Nelson at Nelson Friday.
