(The following obituary was read at Bonnie Newell's funeral held Tuesday.)

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Bonnie Newell, our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to all whose lives she touched, on Feb. 10, 2022. She left her earthly life while sleeping peacefully at the Jewell County Hospital ISB in Mankato, Kan. She was in her 88th year.
