Love my crazy life

I’m so tired of being tired! I did have a productive Saturday, the first in a while. I suppose that means I’m starting to get back to my ol’self. I got the house clean, laundry done and had supper on the table by six. Then on Sunday, I was up and moving by half-past six, which, if you know me, you know that doesn’t happen often. Sunday morning I was doing a little catch-up for work and did my best to work ahead a little, just in case I get sick again.

Sunday afternoon, we went over to Mom’s to celebrate her birthday. My brother and his family were there, and my oldest even called her to wish her a happy birthday. We are a bit of an unruly bunch, and I think we scared her friend Donnie off because he left before dinner. He said he’d come back later. All in all, I believe she had a good day.

Jacob came home last night and told me the Ukraine president is offering $15,000 to persons willing to help in the fight. All I could do was shake my head and laugh. Thank the Lord he won’t be 18 until after he is already in basic training. Hopefully, that is enough to keep him from hopping a plane to Poland for now.

I am excited for summer to get here, but that means my baby will have graduated and be off on his own all too soon. I wish I could freeze time for a bit and keep my son home just a little longer. Maybe on a day is spring-like. LOL! This weather has me so confused. One day it’s nice and warm, and the next, it’s blistering cold. I’m a little worried about what horrors spring will bring to the table. Hopefully nice slow soaking rains and not floods, fires and tornados. X’s & O’s.
