Kan. Highway Patrol promotes Shoemaker

 


Lt. Dennis Shoemaker, a Kansas Highway Patrol officer from Mankato, has been promoted to captain and will serve as the commander of Troop S Special Response Team/SRT, Hazardous Device Unit and the Police Service Dog Unit/PDSU. These positions are more commonly known as the SWAT team, K9 patrol and bomb squad.
