For the first time in more than 12 years, the Rock Hills High School girls basketball team played a meaningful post season game Friday.

The Grizzlies, because of their wining record over the course of the season, received a bye into the semi-final round of the sub-state 1A-D1 game. A win and they would be off to the state tournament while a loss eliminated them from state tournament contention.
