The fire last Tuesday could be seen for miles. Mark Sholtz, Guide Rock, was notified the fire was headed toward the farmstead of Shawn and Renee Ayer, his sister and brother-in-law’s farm. He immediately called his brother, Brad Sholtz, who was taking care of the Ayer livestock while Shawn was at work in Riverton. Shawn had been notified of the danger to his farm and was on his way home.
