L-N boys golf

The Lawrence-Nelson boys varsity and junior varsity golf teams competed at the Sandy Creek quadrangular match last Tuesday.

Wyatt Brockman and Wyatt Hajny each shot a round of 45. Toby Kotinek and Krayton Kucera each carded a round of 47. Conner Janda shot a round of 48 for the nine-hole match. The varsity team score of 134 was good for second place. The four lowest scores are used to tabulate the team score. Hajny and Brockman tied for four place in the individual standings. Kotinek and Kucera tied for ninth.

Clay Williams shot a round of 51 in the junior varsity round which was good for first place in the individual standings. Carson Vaughn posted a round of 58, good for fifth place. Theo Kathman listed a round of 61 which landed him in seventh place. Trey Mueller had a round of 66. Nathan Elledge finished with a round of 64. The team finished in second place.

The team plays the Red Cloud Invitational today (Thursday). The Raiders are back in Clay Center Tuesday for the sandy Creek Invitational.
