Kalynn Meyer competed in the shot put and discus for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln track and field team at the Michael Johnson Invitational held at Baylor University, Waco, Texas, Friday and Saturday.

Meyer picked up the sixth place point, Friday, in the discus with her throw of 51.52 meters.

Meyer finished in 10th place in the shot put, Saturday, with her best toss of 14.58 meters.

Meyer has faced top tier competition since her return to field events after a two-year hiatus where she was focused on volleyball.
